This recognized soloist stems from the world famous French Harp School.

After a Concert degree at the Ecole Normale for Music in Paris, she studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, with Marie-Claire Jamet and Christian Lardé, where she is awarded a first price for Harp and a first price for Chamber music.

Prize-winner from the International competition of Gargilesse, she founds 1988 a Harp duet “Kasaï”, whcich gives concerts everywhere in Europe and in Canada.

Whether for solo concerts (National Chamber Music Orchestra from Toulouse, Sinfonietta in Picardie…), recitals, recordings with Ivo Malec, Thon Tha Tiet, or chamber music, Dominique Piussan likes to play with talented musicians, for example Emmanuel Pahud, with who she performs regularly, in France or Japan.

A dedicated teacher, she teaches the class of Harp at the Toulouse CNR (Conservatoire National de Région) in France.
